Project Management Awareness and Integration Program (PMAIP)

Empowering Tanzanian Youth with Project Management Skills for Career and Entrepreneurial Success

Background and Rationale

Project management is increasingly essential for success across disciplines — from engineering, ICT, business, and health to community development. However, awareness and understanding of Project Management principles among young Tanzanians remain limited.

The TIPM Training Center seeks to bridge this gap by introducing project management concepts early, inspiring youth to view it as a key life and career skill.

Overall Goal

To raise awareness and foundational understanding of project management among youth in secondary schools, technical colleges, and higher learning institutions, empowering them to integrate PM principles into their career and entrepreneurial development.
